Can I short-term rent my Northstar property?+
In most cases yes, but two layers of rules apply. The Northstar resort community and your sub-association may set rental, registration and access requirements, and the property sits in Placer County, which requires a short-term rental permit and transient occupancy tax certificate. We confirm both before you list and handle the paperwork.
How should I price for ski season?+
Northstar’s revenue is concentrated around the ski season, holidays and powder weekends, with a secondary summer peak for golf and events. We use dynamic pricing and minimum-stay rules to capture peak rates while keeping shoulder-season occupancy up.
Do you handle snow removal and winterization?+
Yes. We coordinate snow removal, freeze protection and pre-season checks, and we respond quickly to storm-related issues so your property and your guests are covered through winter.
Can you work with the Northstar HOA and resort rules?+
Yes. Northstar properties operate within resort community and sub-association CC&Rs covering rentals, parking, amenities and access. We review your association’s requirements up front and operate your property within them.
I live out of the area — can you manage everything?+
Absolutely. Most of our owners are remote. From our nearby Truckee team we act as your local presence at Northstar — supervising vendors, handling snow and winterization, approving work with you first and documenting every visit.
